MY DAMES ARE SUPERHERO B%$@&ES!!!

So, I just recently stumbled upon this FAB jewelry designer called: nOir Jewelry, and I'M IN LOOVE!!!

Geek Fact about ME: When I was a pre-teen I used to collect comic books, action hero trading cards, and super hero figurines! LOL! Yes, it's true. I loved the classics - Superman, Batman, X-Men, and Wonderwoman, I was also into the darker comic books like Spawn, Ghost Rider, etc. - many of which are recognizable feature films. One of my favorite comic books to this day was "SHE-HULK"!

Back to our regularly scheduled program...

nOir Jewelry recently released a new collection for DC Comics - of course inspired by the DC action heros made famous through DC comics. HELLZ YEAH!!!! So, of course I couldn't wait to get  my hands on a few of the pieces from this sick ass collection.

I'M HAVING "WET VISION"

MISSONI's Spring RTW 2011 collection was amazing! The clothing was Colorful, Vibrant, Fun, Exciting, and Cutting Edge. Missoni has always been now for their amazing use of color, silky knitwear, and their ability to keep the 70's vibe alive!  They've done so by intergrating that soulful vibe into modern day fashion without losing their luster and originality. But what I really loved were the accessories!!! Let's face it, not many of us may be able to pull off a Missoni look from head to toe... but the accessories you can easily add to your outfit for that added spice and/or the perfect finishing touch. My favorite is the "Wet Vision" sunglasses - Haute as hell!

HARPER'S BAZAAR UK DEC. 2010 - AN OLDIE BUT GOODIE!

I Love this spread because it immediately made me think of the my DAMES! Strong, Angelic, Sexy, Powerful. I love the gold armor in the first photo along with recognizable fashions from the likes of Alexander McQueen and Givenchy. The spread features model, Natalie Vodianova, and photographer, Michelangleo di Battista. Check out. Lemme know what you think.

Janet Jackson - Number Ones/Up Close & Personal Tour - You Had To Be There!!!

I know this post is EXTRA late but, better late than never right!? I knew you'd understand - Muah!
So, continuing my obsession with Ms. Jackson, here are some videos from the third and last show in Los Angeles on April 16, 2011 at the Gibson Amphitheatre for the Number Ones/Up Close & Personal Tour. Words CAN NOT describe how great this show was. I feel truly blessed to have been in attendance to witness it and have great seats ;) Janet looked amazing and performed her ass off at the age of 45!!! Now, that's a true DAME chic! I was sad when the show came to a close because I miss artists like Janet. They don't make 'em like this anymore... For those of you who unfortunately did not attend the concert... Check out the footage below!
