Just copped my very own pair of the exclusive, limited Anniversary edition, Vintage Doc Martens (also available in black)!  HOTT!

To celebrate Doc Marten's 50th Anniversary, they launched a commemorative limited edition of the iconic 8-eye 1460 boot and the classic 3-eye 1461 shoe, made in the original factory in Wollaston, Northamptonshire, England. Both are presented in Black and Cherry Red colors in a rich premium Polished Pebble leather, synonymous with the Dr. Martens brand. The trims of the footwear make use of gold eyelets, lace-ends, heel-loops and a metallic gold footbed - all inspired by long-established traditions of using gold when celebrating a 50th anniversary. Each style is restricted to limited runs of 1,460 pairs per color for the boots, and 1,461 pairs per color for the shoes globally. To add extra cache to the collection, a limited edition box accompanies the product, as well as a certificate of authenticity personally signed by the brand founders / owners, a bespoke swingtag and gold footprint tissue paper - a genuine collector's item for those brand enthusiasts and aficionados alike.

Add this to your playlist my lovely DAMES if you haven't already! This is a great song to get your day started or dance the night away. The fashion is also great in this video (love the high waist romper shorts!) - we like DAME chic Rihanna's dark, edgy self but we love seeing the softer, brighter, carefree side as well which seems to be the direction she's going in for her new, upcoming album - "Loud" - scheduled to hit store Nov. 12. Also check out her other single, "What's My Name" featuring Drake - another hot one! We loves it!

If I could walk around in a gown every day... I ABSOLUTELY WOULD! Unfortunately, eveningwear as ready to wear just isn't practical for the everyday hustle and bustle of the modern day socialite and businesswoman - aka a DAME chic. BUT A GIRL CAN DREAM CAN'T SHE!!! And in that dream every one of my gowns would be designed by Marchesa. The founders/designers and friend duo - Georgina Champman and Keren Craig... are like a fine wine that only gets better with time. One of my favorite designers for several reasons; their designs flatter the womanly figure, unique but sophisticated, feminine with an edge and just freaking Pretty! - and what girls doesn't want to feel pretty in a gown fit for royalty!?
